Introducing the EQuIP Rubric

This video provides an explanation of what the EQuIP rubric is and how it can be used to analyze and plan effective lessons that embody the CCSS instructional shifts and expectations.  Learn how the EQuIP Peer Review process is its own professional development experience, helping educators to think about what they can do to improve the quality of lessons and units that already exist or what educators should think about as they are developing new lessons.  Additionally, this process can be helpful for ILTs and other instructional leaders to think about how to best support teachers.

A five-page written description of the components of the EQuIP rubrics and instructions on how to use them to analyze and improve CCSS lessons and units.

Giving Feedback

This learning module provides examples of sample feedback and gives the user the opportunity to rate each piece of sample feedback using the criteria for effective feedback (criteria-based, evidence cited, improvement suggested, clarity provided.)  From the menu page, click on "giving feedback" in the upper right corner.
